Looking at these pictures I can say, “Ewww! I wouldn’t like to live in this part of Seattle". For over 15 years people who were waiting for their tickets outside the Market Theater sticked their gums on this wall. Can you believe it was scraped clean twice?

What a perfect breakfast! I’d love to eat it every day. But is it really food? Go inside the post to see ;))

Here’s the second collection of “young me – now me” pictures. These people tried their best to create identical shots. And though the backgrounds and poses are pretty much alike, the pictures look different and pretty cool.
While you are watching this collection, I’ll go and do something like this to my wacky photo found in one of the shoe boxes : )
You can check out the first part here, if you missed it: One picture – a story of one life (32 pics)

This guy made a mistake. He parked his car in the wrong place. At least excavator driver seems to think this way, because he took revenge. How? Go inside the post to find out!

These photos of drawings were put together by Neill Cameron and represent the A to Z of awesomeness. The drawings based on suggestions from fans. The results are certainly filled with awesomeness.

Do you think it is a girl or a doll that is shown in the picture below? What is your opinion?

These photos are of a mobile homeless shelter that was designed by Paul Elkins. The shelter weighs 225 pounds empty and includes simple storage, a makeshift washroom, a kitchen, and a sleeping area. The roof acts as a rain catcher which collects free water. I think it is rather a good idea and well designed.

These are probably the most beautiful natural landscapes I’ve ever seen in my life. This is how I imagine paradise :) This beauty is situated in Croatia and is called the Plitvice Lakes. In 1949 the lakes were nationalized by the government and turned into a national park. The park was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979.
The lakes are renowned for their distinctive colours, ranging from azure to green, grey or blue.
By the way, the park is one of the few places on the planet, where new waterfalls appear every year.

I never came across flying people. But looking at these photos I get a feeling of floating in the air myself. How about you?

The photos of these vintage postcards in this post are quite unusual. While the landscape appears quite normal, not all of the participants in the drawings are. They make for some very unusual postcards indeed.
This is very strange. A woman named Jodi was doing something called Extreme Aerial Bow fishing which involves literally shooting jumping carp out of the air. As these photos show, while she was Bow fishing, she certainly didn’t expect this one.
These photos show a 6-year-old Chinese boy who was born with 16 toes and 15 fingers. He will soon undergo surgery to have the extras digits removed. The boy has a total of 31 toes and fingers and has beaten the previous record of 25. The excessive number of toes and fingers is the result of gene mutation.
Gorgeous women make about 20 % of modern military in the USA. Other countries have similar statistics. To my mind women in military uniform look especially beautiful! Do you also think so?

Everybody makes mistakes, but when you drive a 13,500-ton and 315ft high machine, you’d better not make one!
Though, this is exactly what the driver of this huge bucket-wheel excavator did, a big mistake!
See what happened inside the post..
This is Steve Jobs' cheese head if you haven’t guessed. It looks pretty realistic, might even be used in some horror movies : ). The first picture was in our daily picdump before, but its sense wasn’t quiet understood. But thanks to the link sent by Ken A. we can see that this cheese head is a real food carving! Inside this post you can see the whole process of how it was cooked. Thanks Ken for sharing this cool cooking idea with us!

Inside this post you can find photos of extreme drought that hit China in the end of March. The ponds are dried-up. People have to stay in long lines to get water, and there are many other problems that the country is facing today.

Have you heard about infrared thermography? Thermal images allow you “seeing” the heat that is given off by different objects. Let’s count the heat of everyday objects that are used in every household. How do we count the heat? Temperature is shown by colors. The warmest color is white. Then goes yellow, orange, red and purple. The coldest color is black.
A tea bag is lifted out of a hot cup of tea.

These are the works of photographer Aaron Nace. Who can be described as creative, unusual and diverse himself.
He makes some interesting works with an original approach and a good sense of humor.
Chinese people can even feel dust in the air. It’s difficult to breeze, so tourists and local citizens go out hiding their faces in scarves. Dust storms are seasonal phenomenon in Asia, and right now China is covered with “sand powder”. At the same time this orange dust makes photos exclusive, even close to retro style. I bet photographers have much work to do on open air :)

The Cebu in the Philippines has two jails. One of them is an old colonial prison overcrowded with prisoners who make their own rules there and where the guards won’t go if they are not at least 20 people in protected outfits and with snipers on the walls who keep an eye on inmates, in case they tried to pull something off.
Another prison: Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center is the opposite. It is highly protected, they have “fingerprint scanners, closed-circuit TV, and orange uniforms” which is built according to American jail model.
We will mostly talk about the second prison, but there are some interesting facts about Bagong Buhay Rehabilitation Center too.
