Check the available Wi-Fi networks on your computer, cell phone…etc. - who knows, maybe your neighbors have given their WiFi networks a funny name too…
Well, the answer is easy…they are bed-jumping :)
I have to do this. The last time I did this, I was 10 when.. ;))
Peng Shuilin had half of his body amputated after being run over by a truck. But he never gave up!
His recovery has amazed surgeons after almost two years undergoing a series of operations.
The vice-president of the hospital where this 37-year old Chinese man has been treated said: “He is amazing and the only person in the world to survive having so much of his body amputated.”
He’s doing well now and has opened his own bargain supermarket - called the Half Man-Half Price Store.
That’s incredible. It seems nothing can get him down…
Today we will look at how gold bars are made. They then are going into the national gold reserves of Russia.
You’ll see many gold bars. The markings say 99.99% which is the high purity gold bar.
Let me have a couple of bars please
This is a set of pictures from the National Geographic’s International Photography Contest. They come from different photographers and are put in three categories: Places, People, Nature.
The Contest is not finished, so there’s still a possibility to vote.
I guess he really loves tattoos.
There’s almost no place left for new ones… ))
And you should definitely check the tattoos on his face after the jump, it’s the scariest part!
These are the funniest Star Wars status updates I’ve read till now on Facebook. And I suggest you take a look at it.
Plenty of humor and wit :))
Now that’s crazy stuff…
This guy, Dominic Wilcox, has worn it day and night for almost one month.
Not very convenient to sleep I guess and I can imagine how people looked at him in the street… ))
In this cheerful atmosphere of St Andrews University (the oldest university in Scotland) were met the first-year students.
And in this fierce foam fight, there’s no mercy to anyone
This is a cool compilation of creative objects, gadgets…
I totally want some of these!
If you like creative stuff like that, you should definitely look at the smart and creative products from Fred & Friends, if you haven’t seen this post yet.
My brain exploded. On the one hand, these photorealistic sculptures look a little scary, but in anyway they are mega cool.
Most successful hyperrealistic sculptures were created by Ron Mueck, Evan Penny, Jamie Salmon, Duane Hanson, Sam Jinks and Adam Beane.
We will take a look at their work after the jump. A must-see post ;)
Photographer Matt Logue shows with his Empty L.A. photo project what the City of Angels would look like if it was totally people-less.
The photos were taken over a period of 4 years (he began in 2005) at different places of LA.
Very interesting work. Check it out!
A gift doesn’t have to be expensive to be great and please the person to whom you offer it.
You can for example make one by yourself like in this post. It’s easy and cheap but it’s creative, original and it should impress your girlfriend. ))
Take a look and try it.
And here come the 3rd part about those weird Google suggestions.
Always funny… ))

Oasis of the Seas is a cruise ship in the fleet of Royal Caribbean International.
Oasis measures 225,282 gross tons, several times larger than Titanic. The ship's power comes from six marine diesel engines producing 18,860 kilowatts each and three similar 12-cylinder engines each producing 13,860 kilowatts. Oasis of the Seas will offer passengers features such as two-story loft suites and luxury suites measuring 1,600 sq ft (150 m2) with balconies overlooking the sea or promenades. The ship features a zip-line, a casino, a mini-golf course, four swimming pools, volleyball and basketball courts, theme parks and nurseries for children.
I will definitely make a one-month tour on one of such cruise ships. It must be fantastic!
Two Russian traceurs in Saint Petersburg made an incredible jump from a nine-story building (35 feet high) to land on mattresses of the five-storey building roof (22 feet high). It looks very impressive and don’t worry, the two jumps were successful. And this was not some kind of training for a movie just two guys who are passionate about Parkour.
Hats off, guys!
Here is a lesson about Spartan hygiene.
This guide will show you how to brush your teeth like a Spartan!!
Funny ))
After a year of various failures, the 27 km particle accelerator is now fully repaired. Actually, it has been launched last weekend and the test was successful… and we’re still alive :))
So here are gathered cool pics of this “big bang machine” while being repaired and during some experiments. I’m still fascinated by all of this…
Millions of children around the world suffer from poverty, violence and diseases, many of them have to work hard.
Many people don’t care about this and it is terrible. Frankly, my heart bleeds seeing these kids, who from an early age had to deal with this cruel world.
