Photograph Per-Anders Pettersson travelled on the Chinese part of the Silk Road. It was a 3200-kilometer journey from Xian to Kashgar that took 3 weeks by train, bus, plane, 4x4…

These Robin Hoods consist of 1 thousand heavily armed militants that fight with current oil companies to take what belongs to them. In this region people are far beyond of a poverty limit, they don’t have electricity, tap water or any roads. And the pollution of oil industry is so high that it is impossible to fish in the water. So, the villagers want their part of financial rewards from the oil industry. Anthony Toth, 42, built a replica of a first-class cabin from a Pan Am World Airways 747 in his garage!
He has spent more than 20 years on his creation of a Pan Am cabin and he estimates he has spent around $50,000 on the project.
I think it’s pretty well done, but I would never spend $50k and 20 years of my life for that…
Those photos are truly beautiful. They were taken by the photograph Kristina Kotarski who made an excellent job.
