Today we have some content sent to us by our visitor Superba. It is about plastic surgeries that made people better and were quite successful. Thank you a lot Superba. Here’s what he wrote:
“In Romania is a TV show with people who have different defects and by participating on the show the defects are corrected by cosmetic surgery, dentistry, even wardrobe is changed.
Pictures are BEFORE AND AFTER ».

We can learn so many interesting things about something that is trivial like cats ;))
I am sure all cat lovers will be curious to know these facts if they don’t know them already, of course :)

Those two gif animations were realized by Christine Eric. She made short X-ray films showing the movement of the tongue and the entire mouth area.
It’s really weird but in the same time, very interesting to see!

Recently, a strange robot could have been seen on the streets of a Japanese city.
Everything was fine, a crowd of curious children started to gather around the robot and then… OMG!
Well, see for yourself.

Inside the post, you will read a very tragic story, photos and video are not for the faint-hearted. As I mentioned before, they are very graphic.
This is 50 year-old Carla Nash with her friend’s chimpanzee David...

Your surely know Omegle, this site where you can communicate with random, anonymous people across the Internet via chat!
Well, here is another funny conversation between 2 complete strangers…
I won't tell more, read ‘til the end, it is worth it ))

Maurice Tillet was born in France and was very intelligent and spoke 14 languages.
In his twenties, he developed acromegaly, a rare disease that causes bones to grow wildly and uncontrollably. Soon his whole body was disfigured as a result. Afterwards, he fled France, became a professional wrestler in the United States, and won American Wrestling Association World title. Tillet was dubbed as the "freak ogre of the ring."
There are rumors that the Shrek character was inspired by Tillet’s look. Who knows but he really does have a lot in common with the character.

USS Independence (LCS-2) is the second class prototype for the Independence-class littoral combat ship. It was designed and built by General Dynamics, Aural and Bath Iron Works. It is intended as a small assault transport with a variety of capabilities depending on the mission module installed. The ship is a trimaran design capable of over 40 knots (74 km/h; 46 mph), and will normally be delivered to the US Navy at the end of 2009. This 127-meter ship requires a crew of 40 sailors and has a maximum range of 20,000 km.
Really impressive! I love the design in general, especially the trimaran hull…

How do you think they transport a big brand new locomotive and place it on the rails?
Well, they use an enormous, very long and powerful truck!
I’m always amazed by such trucks…
Look at more pics after the jump.

Look how many people gathered and how hard they are pulling this net.
I wonder what they caught. When you see the catch at the end, it will be quite a surprise for you ))

You just need to see this. This is one of the most beautiful tilt-shift photography I’ve seen till now.

The author of those cool 8-Bit Fatalities, Steven Lefcourt, was inspired by the controversy over the violence in video games. He says: “Just because you didn’t see pac-man violently tearing into the ghosts with his jaws, or mario smashing in the brains of a goomba, that’s what I knew was happening.”
So, he decided to show us just what he imagined was happening when these pixelized characters came into contact with each other, but in a much more gory way… like in Mortal Kombat!
I love it!

If people lived under water - they would live this way.
Amazing photoworks. Big respect to the authors.

With Photoshop, you can do incredible things!
Here for example, take a photo and remove some details - make them invisible.
And it is a real bomb. Take a look.

The Star Wars universe is still and will always be very inspiring for people who like costumes or who want to make one.
This costume is very inspired too and quite unusual – Luke Skywalker is common but it’s the first time I see a "Luke Skywalker on a tauntaun" costume!
For those who don’t know, this is an animal Luke Skywalker rode in Empire Strikes Back.
It was entirely created by a certain Scott Holden.

Having been in Yemen, photographer Aaron Huey has prepared a very interesting photo essay.
He photographed the Yemeni girls, dressed in traditional Islamic dress burka or niqab.
Aaron also asked the girls different questions.
Let's look into their eyes and read up on what they think about love and other stuff.
