It's always a shame to see ruined cars, especially when it’s brand new ones. They will never be brought back to shape after that; the only thing left is the recycling. Huacachina is a small lost paradise located in the desert of the Ica region, in south-western Peru. There are only 115 inhabitants (1999).
The particularity of this village is that it has been built around a small natural lake in the desert called the "Oasis of America.”
The two main activities in addition to swimming are sandboarding and taking dune buggy rides on sand dunes that stretch several hundred feet high.
Going on vacations in an oasis is rather cool and frankly, I would be glad to spend one week or two over there this summer!

The construction of the Colorado River Bridge over Hoover Dam continues and the opening is planned in 2010.
It is a real mega construction, the total length of the bridge will be 579 meters and the height will be 256 meters above the Colorado River.
The bridge will give a magnificent view on the dam and will be open not only for motorists but for pedestrians too.
