La Tomatina is a food fight festival held on the last Wednesday of August each year in the town of Buñol in the Valencia region of Spain. Tens of thousands of participants come from all over the world to fight in a brutal battle where more than one hundred metric tons of over-ripe tomatoes are thrown in the streets.
Approximately 20,000–50,000 tourists come to the tomato fight, multiplying by several times Buñol's normal population of slightly over 9,000. In preparation for the dirty mess that will ensue, shopkeepers use huge plastic covers on their storefronts in order to protect them.

To be honest, I have no clue what it’s all about, maybe it is some kind of Chinese festival or tradition, but everybody who’s going there risks ending up with a dirty face.

All the people in this selection share one thing – they’ve all been arrested while they were disguised!
Some were under the influence of drugs or alcohol, others just used their costume to commit different crimes. Well, some fun for the cops I guess…
My favourite is the woman disguised in a cow.

One policeman wanted to buy something in a shop and parked in the wrong place, when he came out from the shop he saw a ticket stuck to his car’s window.
This greatly infuriated him and he decided to take revenge.

About four confirmed and two more likely tornadoes touched down in Ontario, Canada on August 20.
But only one of them turned out to be devastating.
When viewing photos, note where the tornado passed- a narrow strip of destruction among absolutely intact houses.
