I think everybody knows Hello Kitty, this little white kitten with its pink ribbon. The success of Hello Kitty is huge, the fan-base is gigantic and the number of products is enormous – and add to that all the Hello Kitty stuff that fans make by themselves.
This phenomenon, that I will not explain here, has reached huge proportions; almost all objects that can potentially carry the Hello Kitty logo have been produced and if it’s not the case, the fans make the 'job'. There are even houses that have been fully decorated with Hello Kitty products.

Before, the dirt was associated primarily with pigs, but these days the situation has apparently changed ))

The 4th annual Maker Faire was held last weekend in San Mateo, California. For those who don’t know, it is an event created by Make Magazine to "celebrate arts, crafts, engineering, science projects and the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) mindset."
One of the creations that one could see over there was the Mercedes Pens – a Mercedes covered with no less than 10.000 pens!! This weird “car decoration” is not something you see everyday and the guy must have a lot of patience… and pens!

This is not just thugs, it is a real organized criminal group 
Baboons of the Knowsley Safari Park have decided that no one can pass on their way without paying tax.
Look how skillfully they managed to open the luggage trunk on the roof of the car and take away all the stuff.
The poor tourists were shocked and could not do anything to stop this madness 
Of course, who would risk standing up to this horde of baboons?

The Formula One demo races took place in Moscow last weekend and something interesting happened just before the race. An expensive blue Bugatti crashed into a fence.
Happily, the driver and the passenger were not hurt but the super car is not in a good shape anymore.
Quite an expensive accident and it’s a shame ‘cause it was a beautiful car…

The Petermann glacier is the northernmost glacier in the world. It is situated in North-East Greenland.
It is partially floating (at the end), and mainly located on land. In 2008, a 7 miles long crack was observed on the glacier by satellite. It has been progressing forward and is expected to break-off in the summer 2009 – Wiki.
Let’s look at this beautiful creation of nature. Who knows, maybe we won’t see it anymore after this summer…
