Who knew that Nigeria has a film industry that actually makes more movies per annum than America’s Hollywood? Well I certainly didn’t but it is apparently it is the second largest film producing industry in size! Nollywood produce about two thousand films every year. Films are shot using digital technology, take roughly 10 days to complete and range in cost from $20,000 to $40,000 each. Of course, there is no time for rehearsals.
