Thus he decided to make a tattoo in honor of Columbian soccer player Andres Escobar who was murdered in 1994. People still think Mr. Escobar died because some powerful drug lords had a bet on the 1994 FIFA World Cup, the game in which Columbia lost 1:2 to the USA. That tournament should be in history by now, but Felipe’s crazy tattoo probably reminds him of that big loss.
