We often imagine a disco party to be a cool and fun event but this picture has nothing in common with the cruel reality. Move your mouse over the video to compare the two disco parties: imaginary and real.

Promotional pictures of fast food burgers look delicious and mouth-watering. But this is not what their real “face” is. You can compare the looks of real-life burgers from 5 fast food restaurants and their ad “clones” after the jump.

These are a unique combination of an artist’s sketch and a photograph. Some of the sketches blend in with the photograph and others humorously complement them. In either case they are very amusing and interesting. The artist Ben Heine is simply a genius.

Let’s take a look at this fun compilation of people or animals spotted IRL which just totally look like well-known fictional characters. I find this drawn story a useful one. I wish the new generation that is attached to computer games could read it and understand. It is kind of sad when game becomes reality.
A great comic, with a good idea which is very well put by Stuart McMillen. Always challenge yourself :)

This is the reality of suburbs and slums of the city which will host Olympics in 2016.
As you can see from these pictures, the dark side of this beautiful city is shown. The police have long ago lost any control in these areas. Now it is drug dealers and criminal groups who are reigning there. Apart from adult drug addicts, you can also see children wandering the streets looking for crack or other drugs.
Very sad reality…

Some guys from Germany made a very cool experiment.
They compared how food looks on packaging and in reality.
It turned out quite interesting.
On the left – pictures of packages, in the center - a larger photo on a package and on the right – the real photo of the product.
It seems like we can tick our mind and see what is not actually real, or simply, to hallucinate (I’m not talking about taking drugs). Our brain is more complicated than we thought it was already ;) So, in general, what we see is a “byproduct of how the brain processes sensation.”
Below you can see several illustrations with examples.
