Because of the rise of apartment thefts in Santiago, Chile, agency DDB decided to show apartment dwellers that it is however easy to break in in their homes. The aim was also to advertise ADT home security systems. They went to several apartments and slid a folded box under the door... See how it works after the break.
This post is full of unintended sexual content. Some of it is simply advertising and some is on purpose but it is all somewhat naughty but funny.
It was once said that “there is a sucker born every minute”. That would appear to be true based on the photos in this post. Not only are the companies advertising these ridiculous items but it would seem that they are at least selling enough of them to pay for the advertising at least. It has also been said that if you build a better mousetrap people will beat a path to your door. That may also be true, but who said these ridiculous items represented a better mousetrap?
A very strong and interesting advertising campaign was launched by Publics Mojo to support the CALM, a New Zealand campaign against landmines.
The idea is quite original and reminds everyone that in many countries, there are children who step on landmines everyday.
But it can be also seen as a disturbing one: every time you open a ketchup bag, you “also rip through the child’s leg and the ketchup inside pours out like blood.”
The APA competition (Advertising Photographers of America) took place not long ago and there are a lot of excellent photos.
Here are gathered the best pics of the 26 winners.
Nike Women campaign with the slogan “Here I Am” was translated into Russian as “This is me” or “Yes, I am this way”. So, this Russian slogan plus the picture with dancer Sofia Boutella lead to an amusing ambiguity.
Let’s look first at the original photograph and inside the post you will see the billboard which is now hanging all over Russia.
Excellent creative idea, you can use this as calendars, posters or put on billboards as an ad. I think such ad can only raise the number of clients ;))
Indian mobile operator AIRCEL hung up an advertising billboard with an inflatable boat on a street in Mumbai. A real one, of course.
The slogan reads "In case of emergency, cut the rope." 15 July 2009, the city was hit by downpour, flooding the city.
And then the people were finally able to take advantage of advertising...
Excellent selection of ads. By the plan of advertisers, after viewing that, each person with extra weight will want to go to the gym and workout.
Creative people, they did their job very well.

From my part, the advertisers get 5 out 5 for their creative work.
McDonalds - the most famous fast-food restaurant chain.
This compilation is a mix of funny incidents with restaurants, unusual advertising and other fakes related to this global brand. Take a look.
This advertising campaign is managed by the Brazilian media Sistema Jangadeiro that made these pictures with the slogan: It would be very easy to manipulate facts if it weren't for the media.
But in reality, it is precisely how the media distort the facts. I would say that it is rather advertising campaign fail ...
Look at the photos and their originals after the jump.
Excellent selection of the most creative anti-tobacco ads.
If you smoke, look at this, it could help you to get rid of this harmful habit ;)
