Actor Gerard Butler was hospitalized as he struggled to conquer the waves at Mavericks, the infamous Northern California surf spot south of San Fransisco, while shooting Of Men and Mavericks. He is not a professional surfer, and since the movie is about the best world’s surfers he surely shouldn’t have acted his way into big wave surfing. Take a look at the photographs that show how big Mavericks can really get.

Yeah, Friday has rolled around again and with the weekend looming near we selected some great pictures to slide into the weekend with.

This is an exhibition of everyday objects that were made by students of the faculty of Industrial Design Technology College HiT, in the Park Mini-Israel. The only condition of their design was that it had to mimic the originals.

People are not the only ones who are moving. Their houses sometimes also have to move from one location to the other together with their owners, and this scene is always very spectacular.

Some robbers can’t be called this name, as they are real losers. I am talking about two guys you will see after the jump.

Only ‘big bills’ from different countries. Some are rather unique!

Maybe the largest in the world… actually, I don’t even know where it is situated and I have no details so if anyone has some information, just write a comment. )
Anyway, this one, even if it’s not the biggest, is really long and I wouldn’t be against to try this out…

The Japanese did the biggest fireworks in the world. It requires a huge charge to launch the fireworks - 120 cm diameter and 450kg weight.
It can reach 850 meters high and when exploding it makes an 800-meter diameter.
Inside the post, you will see a manufacture process of the mortar and a video of fireworks launch.

The wedding was really luxurious. The groom clearly, wasn’t greedy about the money for the wedding and paid enough to make this day memorable for life

Busan or Pusan is the largest port city in South Korea.
Above you will see the pictures from one of its popular beaches – Haeundae Beach.

A burst water main created a 25-metre hole that buried two parked cars and a power pole and caused a landslide into Cooper Park.
I was particularly impressed with photos taken from a helicopter. You will see them at the end of the post.

How can a big family go somewhere if they don’t have a car and don’t have much money?
Well, as you will see, there are no problems, only solutions. But I wouldn’t have risked to do that.

Sometimes it’s not easy to have one child and having 10 – it must be something.
But they seem to be one happy and solid family. That is the most important ))
