Colonel Meow is the internet’s angriest looking cat.

Living on the shores of Lake Van, near the city of Van, this Van Cat and a local fox are often seen playing together. A local fisherman said he first saw them together when they shared some fish left over from the fisherman. The pair soon began to play together and it has now been over a year since they began this unlikely friendship.

When 88 year old Misa adopted this odd-eyed kitten thirteen years ago, her granddaughter began taking photos of the touching relationship that formed between her and the cat. The friendship between Misa and Fukumaru is now documented in a beautiful photo book entitled, “Misao the Big Mama and Fukumaru the Cat”.

When these baby hedgehogs were left orphaned, this cat, a new mother herself, become a surrogate to the babies, feeding and nurturing them as if they were her own.

Shishi-Maru is a Scottish fold cat, which means he has a gene mutation that makes his ears bend forward and down. This cute cat has become an internet sensation!
