An old barge in the center of Stockholm constructed in 1909 has recently been rebuilt as a living home with an area of 1600 sq. ft.
Take a look at customized and weatherproof homes build by WorldHaus for families in need. A modular building system allows people to create any size and configuration they want. A base model can be built in 10 days at a starting cost of about $1,500.

During the Second World War president Franklin D. Roosevelt issued an executive order creating the Office of War Information (OWI). The OWI snapped thousands of pictures to use for the war effort. Check out these color samples of men and women hard at work.

These are photos of a very unhappy puppy before when it needed a new home, and a very happy puppy after it found a new home. The difference is amazing.
Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous never took a long look at those gorgeous homes in the Cayman Islands. This is just one of those amazing homes that only the super rich can afford.
These home sellers have some of the most unusual and strange names that you have ever heard. Some are rather risqué, some are familiar, and all of them are very weird. Mostly though, they are all humorous.
Before I learned some cooking skills this pic shows exact same reasons why I tried to avoid cooking at home too ;)
Yup, unreal as it sounds this house cost 1 billion dollars along with 7 years to create. Take a long look at this billion dollar home that features 27 floors, 600 servants, and includes a yoga room and pool. Just look at it. Is that a billion dollar architecture design? To many of us in the western world, we say uhmmm no! Isn’t that something a redneck threw together?

Here’s a little instruction on how to make home beer popsicles. So, if you love beer this post is definitely for you.
The good thing is that they are easy to make.
As the title of the pics says, working from home is both awesome and horrible, but in what ways?
Little children can’t control their desires to ruin things at home. Some consequences are funny. Others are sad and painful. But they are simply kids. They have the right to have the last laugh, don’t they?
Don’t miss the previous part of When Kids Have the Last Laugh.
Jeremy Kipnis is the owner of this amazing home theatre shown in these photos. It has a gigantic 10’ X 18’ screen, professional video projector, numerous custom DVD/CD, Blu ray player, VHS video recorder, Laserdisc, a gaming console, huge speakers, and luxurious seating. It is worth a cool $6,000,000. Some people sure know how to live.
Russian parents went on vacation and left their 16-year-old son at home alone. When they came back home, they saw their apartment just like this :)
Ray Barker’s home is a converted broom closet which measures 11’ X 5.5’. It was originally bought by a secretary for £37,000 in 1987. However, location is everything, and since it is located opposite Harrods in Knightsbridge, the miniature home has been valued at £200,000. Four years ago, Mr. Barker bought the small apartment for £120,000. He says that he can do the cleaning while lying in his sofa bed. In fact, he says that he can wash up, answer the door, make a cup of coffee, and use the restroom all at the same time. The space’s two rooms measures 60.5 ft.2 and has a toilet, a shower which doubles up as a wardrobe, and six-inch deep cupboards. The space is just fine for sleeping, has a space to hang his jacket and keep his shampoo.
Some people take recycling to the extreme. The home in these photos was made entirely out of recycled shipping containers. I don’t know if it was any less expensive than a normal, but it certainly is unique and I suppose it does help the environment.
All this zoo needs is an elephant
What is surprising is that he is not afraid to go into the cage with predators and he treats them as if they were just dogs. Moreover, I would never put my child on the back of a big cat even if I was upbringing the animal myself.
The ‘TP paper on the home prank’ is quite a common prank but I’ve never seen one that big. “It must have taken hundreds of rolls”, said Meredith Summer who was driving along Maplefield Road (Pleasant Ridge, Michigan) when she saw this “redecorated home”.
Apparently, this house is often a victim of such pranks. Good luck to the owner to clean all the mess up.
It seems that this is the only place to play for these children. This is their “playground” in their apartment.
It breaks my heart only by looking at these pictures
One couple bought a historic church in Kyloe, Northumberland.
They invested a lot of money to maintain its exterior and interior. The exterior remains almost intact. They made a restoration, rather than a renovation (which would be 3 times cheaper).
If it were not for them, who knows what would have happened to this church as it was in a poor condition. The couple however readapted the interior to give it a home atmosphere.

Look what the poor cat had to do to get home and see his family. Kudos for perseverance)
At the last picture, you can see how high he had to climb.
This interesting house was built in Germany. As you can see it is upside down and everything in it is upside down too.
It is not possible to live there, but why not to visit.
