Living in a consumer driven world means there are going to be a lot of silly products put on the market. Check out these unnecessary but completely desirable inventions.
Everyone comes up with one good idea in their lifetime, and sometimes well they don't quite pan out. This list gives light to some of the funnier of these inventions.
Gas Attack
None of us will ever get to see these coolest inventions that scientists predict for the year 3000. Still we can at least glance at these great achievements that are supposed to make the life of future generations so much easier. Have fun!

One would think that with the two great characteristics such as opposing thumbs and advanced brains, humans would be able to come up with some really useful inventions. Well, it would appear from the photos that sometimes the creative process becomes a disturbing mix of lack of common skill and sense, a strange sort of genius, and perhaps a little too much alcohol. The result is very dumb inventions.

Most of us have felt the need to use our inventive skills at one time or another. However, these photos represent the times when we should have simply called a professional. They are some examples of when things should not be homemade. However, they are funny.

The turns of the century brought with it some revolutionary ideas and nowhere were they more evident than in New York City. New York City is probably the most urbanized city in the United States and when the turn of the century came around all the inventions of the era showed up there as is demonstrated in these amazing photos of the beginning of the 20th Century.

I just want to share with you what I have learnt recently. It’s about all the crazy things that our grand-parents came up with )) I couldn’t even imagine that 50-60 years ago people could thought through such things )
Well, many of these inventions are hilarious, stupid, incredible or simply useless. But still, it’s interesting to know the way people saw things back then )
I spent many hours on the modernmechanix looking through dozens of inventions and selected the best of them, in my opinion!
