This parade celebrates 65 years of reclusive rule by North Korea. The youngest son of Kim Jong il, Kim Jong-un, who is in the process of taking over as ruler is present to enjoy the festivities. There is also an amazing amount of people present to watch the parade.
This North Korea’s Supreme Leader Kim Jong-il like his father, Kim Il-sung (a founder of North Korea), makes many different visits to factories and plants in order to offer his guidance. Kim Jong-il is 69 years old. He is always followed by army officers and facility personal who write down every word of the “Great Leader”.
