The Wieliczka Salt Mine is a beautiful place in southern Poland. It used to produce table salt for over 800 years till 2007 being one of the oldest companies in the world. This mine is referred to as ‘the undeground salt cathedral of Poland’ that attracts 1.2 million tourists from all over the world annually who come to see historic statues and mythical figures carved out of the rock salt.

This statue of Jesus is truly bigger than life. It is located in a small town in Poland. It cost $1,500,000 and stands 157 feet tall and is the tallest statue of Jesus Christ in the world. The next closest is Jesus Christ, the redeemer in Rio de Janeiro which is 125 feet tall.

The small village of Szymbak in Poland attracts tourists from all over the world. Why? Here there is the craziest upside down house. It was built by Polish businessman Daniel Czapiewski. The strange angles of its walls might give you the feeling of being disoriented and confused.
