This rescue helicopter brought an emergency doc to a car repair station where one of their mechanics was heavy injured. I think, I wouldn´t try to put my hand between the grass and the rotor wings... This happened in Northern Italy in a small village on the eastern side of the famous stelvio pass.

On the way with my bike through the Defereggental (Defereggen-valley) to the "Staller Sattel", an Alpine pass from Eastern Tyrol, a part from Austria to Southern Tyrol, a part from Italy. But lot of kind of this "traffic" is common there... ;-)

The covers are memorable. They are remembered for their feverish depictions of ‘high-octane’ moments. They are famous for their half-dressed damsels in distress, the scantily clad dame. It didn’t matter that the crime series were about male detectives, the covers lovingly depicted sexually idealized women who posed, pouted and promised more than the stories ever delivered.

Well, internet surfers, it’s finally happened. You can now really reach out and touch someone.  The cool people at Chinese University have created a robotic hand that will afford you the sense of touch as you surf. 

If you've never been to Bangkok, Thailand, you'd probably be surprised to learn that a lot of people actually do celebrate Halloween here. Thailand is a Buddhist country but Bangkok has a sizeable expat community, many of whom celebrate Halloween. There are also a lot of Thais who celebrate Halloween , regardless of being Buddhist, as Thais love nothing more than having fun and Halloween is certainly fun
