the bats are not hurting anyone and they do a great job keeping insects under control.

not to mention, you've probably doomed them by destroying their home. bats have almost no fat on their bodies, so very little fuel reserves to survive this kind of catastrophe...

The real kicker is that they have day laborers getting rid of bats which carry rabies, and if bit they would need a Human Immunoglobulin shot which is extremely painful. This should of been handled by professional animal control, not random Spaniards found off the street.

Depends of which kind of bats. There are very few that actually bite, the only biting-type species are in South America, and they only feed at night. Here they're juts blinded by the light, and don't care about the workers. They wouldn't care even if they were juicy insects.
Bats are freaky cute, I've got plenty of them at home, they're really no hazard and eat mosquito, wasps... The only annoying thing is when they choose you patio to shit, though.

Hoooly fuck. They just keep coming. I've got nothing against bats, but that is a health hazard. And it must be creepy to hear them squeak under the roof both day and night.
