Another selection of photographs of criminals taken in a police station but this time these are Sydney police mug shots from 1912-1930. Previous part: Mug Shots from the Past A burglar who spent his ill gotten gains on booze and prostitutes.  The objects we humans use to park our cans on are as varied as the people who use them. That is evident by this collection of photos of most unusual chairs. From the posh to the naughty to the ridiculous, this collection of chairs has it all. Don’t believe me, have a look for yourself.  The hotel in these photos was taken from a hotel located in Thailand. In addition to the unsavoury conditions, complete with torn furniture and wiring hanging from ceilings, the picture that depicts bites all over a hand it was the result of a guest being bitten by ants.  These photos were found on the hairy pits of a live journal community. There is really not all that much unusual about it. In China roughly one half of the girls there don’t shave their armpits and this is considered to be normal. In some social circles it is considered attractive.  Hundreds of girls across the country gathered in New York to take part in the sale of wedding dresses. At the first look at these photos you might think the guy is just hungry for some cold steel but if you look further you will discover that he has an ulterior motive in mind. Check the photos out for yourself and see what it is.  Tired of all the nicks and cuts you receive when shaving? Well, you do have options, one of which is depicted in these photos. Although, I doubt that the method depicted in these photos is recommended by many dermatologists, it does seem to work for this guy.  Whenever a TV forecaster predicts snow, there is the inevitable urge to panic. The first thing people do, think that they won’t be able to get to a grocery store is to run out and strip the local supermarket bare down to the shelves. According to these photos, that is precisely what the folks did in Washington DC and New York did when they heard it was going to snow.  Warning signs are a helpful reminder to be careful in certain situations. But that doesn’t mean that they can’t be humorous as well. As these photoshopped signs prove some warning signs can be as worthless as they are funny. After all, skiing can be hazardous to your health.  Ever wonder how many different kinds of guns there are? Well, as evidenced from these photos there are many, many different kinds. As a gun collector myself, I can appreciate this interesting collection. There are several in this collection I would like to own.  Mother Nature certainly provides some beautiful landscape views as these photos depict. This is especially true in winter. The blanket of fresh snow and partially frozen lakes and streams, somehow gives us a sense of serenity and peace which is priceless.  Have a look at these magnificent light paintings. They are truly incredible. The scenes are from every place you can imagine and the colors are beautiful. The artists who created these are truly geniuses and the paintings in these photos are gorgeous.  So you are at a loss as to what to get your girlfriend for a St. Valentine’s Day gift, and you’re broke besides. No problem. Have a look at these photos and get inspired. All you need is a little ingenuity, condoms, drinking straws, and polyurethane foam. This should please any girl on this most special day of the year.  You guess is as good as any ones. Candy bars? As the group of girls in these photos proves, gravity is no obstacle for a winning team. They are so excited over their recent win, they literally jump for joy. Ah youth, what a shame it is wasted on the young. Their exuberance is topped only by their ability to leap in the air.  These photos remind us that things always look a little different when we are drunk than when we are sober. When drunk we are able to turn a great liability into an asset, if only in our minds. We wish the best of luck to the newly engaged   As these photos show, some people go all out for Halloween. This has got to be the best Wolverine costume ever. Although the guy doesn’t look much like a Wolverine, I doubt anyone would say his hands aren’t realistic looking. Ouch!!  The photos in this collection are simply humorous. From the inane to the bizarre it is amazing what some people will think up to photograph. From fruits and vegetables to funny signs and animals, there is something here for everyone.  Stephane Halleux has created some real gizmos in these photos. The figures have one of everything and two of most. It is difficult to tell if the figures represent something from the future or something from the past. But it is very close to Steampunk. Have a look and you be the judge.  I don’t know that the Indian people were ever known to be an industrious lot, but as these photos show, they are far from it. Now I’m not saying that all Indian folk are lazy, but the ones in these photos certainly are. But I guess if there is nothing else to do, why not?  Some folks seem to think that their message is so important that they will do practically anything to get the word out. Take a look at the extremes the guy in these photos went to in order to spread word. Does kind of make you wonder what was so damn important though, doesn’t it?
