the first rule should always be- if they're too scared to jump and it's not an emergency, then don't force them.

there's no reason in the world why some instructor should be battling to pull an 80-yr old's hands off of the door, trying to leverage her out. so very many things could go wrong in that situation. instructor is lucky he's not in prison and the agency is lucky they don't owe millions in compensation, signed document or no signed document. what a collection of knuckleheads.
