Volvo has invented a new emergency braking system named CW-EB (Collision Warning with Emergency Brake) and it’s damn impressive.

Note that the tractor trailer is fully loaded to 40 tons GCW.

I want to see this work on a tractor trailer going 75-80 mph in dense fog. If that happens, then it will save thousands of innocent lives a year.

Oh it's great until the computers detect an obstacle that isn't really there and slam on your brakes in the middle of the freeway...

Won't happen? Nissan being investigated for that very thing right now...
