For some contemporary jewellery designers, cut coin art is a popular method of creating stunning and unique jewellery creations out of old coins. The practice is entirely legal in the United States providing the coins are marketed for use as jewellery and artists typically sell their work online. These below examples of cut coin art are works by Rob Johnson.

Bonsai trees originated in China and became a prominent ornament in the houses of Japanese nobility. Englishman, Chris Guise is so passionate about these “dwarf” trees that he has amassed a small collection of which Bilbo Baggins’s hobbit house is a great example.
