Dead Tree Doesn't Accept Its Fate (VIDEO)

The tree fell during a storm so the owner grabbed his chainsaw and started to cut it up when this happened.

"on tape"... an expression from not so long ago meaning "recorded."


anyway, he should have seen that coming, considering the huge root ball. still, should he have started on that end with the chainsaw or done something else?

It looks dumb at first, but I think starting at the root end might have been more dangerous. Now he can cut it down like a regular tree, and don't need to worry about what might happen when he cuts deep enough in a tree with it's root as a counterweight.

just a hypothesis, but if he'd hacked off sections of the root ball, he might have gotten it into manageable pieces to pull out of that hole. yet by starting at the top end, most scenerios would have the root ball dropping back in to the hole, and thereby being harder to access and harder to remove. *shrug*
