Belgian city of Marche-en-Famenne hosted the most fascinating annual event on July: the largest gathering of living statues in Europe. This free street festival can be decribed as the most fascinating outdoors museum, with the sculptures being replaced by men and women posing as statues in the pedestrian part of the town centre.

This old man, a retired shop owner from Belgium, was refused a permit to construct a garage door in his former shop. This man was left no choice, so he build it anyway.

The Miranda Castle or Chateau Miranda was built in 1866. It was deserted in 1991.

Located in an arts park near Antwerp, Belgium, this bizarrely designed hotel is actually a popular tourist attraction. Shaped like a human gut, the creation is by artist, Joep Van Lieshout and is called, “artwork to live in”. Although it all looks rather odd from the outside, travellers come for the experience of it and a room at the hotel costs £96 pounds a night ($154) and includes breakfast and entry to the sculpture park.

Belgian design studio Bham turned this decommissioned water tower that soars about 30 m (98 ft.) above the flat countryside near Brussels into a living house. Now the building with a total area of 400 sq. m (4300 sq. ft.) is a six-level two-bedroom private residence with modern furniture, sleek kitchen, and garage for two cars.
