If you think that cardboard record players have now become souvenirs from the past, you are wrong. Yes, it was back in the late 60’s and early 70’s when cardtalkplays were popular record players sold or given out as a promotion to different people. But now this tradition is back to life thanks to a mail promotion campaign held by GGRP Vancouver Company in 2010. This sound design company mails a record in a cardboard sleeve that you can unpack and turn into human-powered record player. Watch photos and video for more instructions and play the music.
