Who would have predicted that ordinary rain can do that with a river in a such idyllic place of Mag-Aso falls on Bohol Island, Philippines.
Everything was normal when suddenly the water began to rise very quickly, the waterfall started to fall heavily and the river current accelerated.
The two guys who were in the water at that time found themselves trapped under the waterfall. This continued for several hours ... The bodies of two guys were found a couple days later, 5 km from this place that seemed to be a little piece of paradise...

Many people were killed in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, after a heavy downpour. The rains caused a major infrastructure failure and the results were disastrous.
Just look at how the flood damaged the city and took down everything on its way…

These photos come from the series The flood in Minsk but I decided to post them separately.
Very rare shots. Personally, I have never seen anyone riding a jet ski in a flooded city before.
Really cool.

When in some places it is hot even to breath, in other places floods don’t stop.
This is what happens in Minsk, Belarus. Heavy rains have literally turned the city into a “sea.” The water is everywhere: in subways, on the roads, in the buildings, in the means of transport. The rescuers had to help people to get off buses and cars because of it.

A few days ago in the Ukrainian capital Kiev, one of the streets turned into a river in the literal sense of the word.
Not everyone could cross it. The engines of a police car and a Mercedes 500 just cut out and a shuttle bus had to stop in the middle of it to let its passengers go out.
At the same time people kept the smiles on their faces and for two kids it was a fun time.

It's always a shame to see ruined cars, especially when it’s brand new ones. They will never be brought back to shape after that; the only thing left is the recycling. Inside the post you’ll see flooded cars from everywhere and the first set of pictures are Skoda cars flooded right after they were assembled in the plant.
And here you can watch burned cars and another post on the same topic with cars.

Thousands of people came at the B93's 17th-annual Birthday Bash country music concert at the Ionia Fairgrounds, Michigan.
It all started well, but later people had trouble to leave. A stretch of the Grand River rose Saturday, cutting off exits to parking area for thousands of people. They had to abandon their vehicles and take only the essential with them. They found shelter in a local school.

What you’re going to see is not a computer graphics but a real place.
It is the Metropolitan Area Outer Discharge Channel, constructed to avoid flooding on typhoon season. Its construction started in 1992.
The size is impressive: The maximum height - 25.4 m, maximum width - 78 meters. By the way, this place is open for tourists. I can imagine them circling there with open mouths ;)

Late last month, some areas of Brazil started remotely to resemble Venice.
As a result of floods, about 300 thousand people were left homeless. Here's the great power of nature :((

Flooding was caused by incessant rains. Rescuers had to make several rescue operations.
People are trying to stay in their homes, except for some who even in such weather would ride around the city in their cars.

It wouldn’t happen with small cars though, but this guy had no such problem with his monster truck.

One parking lot in Kiev was flooded during the night.
Water has brought a lot of sand and, therefore, in the morning, few people were able to take their cars. They had to dig them out first ...

The Red River is approaching record flood levels.
Flowing north toward Manitoba along the Minnesota-North Dakota border, the river is jammed up by ice and is being fed by rain, snow and melt water.
Cold temperatures are hampering efforts, freezing damp sandbags and making the job much more strenuous for volunteers.
800 more National Guard troops and 150 Red Cross personnel arrived in the area this weekend.

An octopus was spotted on the scene of crime when the workers of Santa Monica Aquarium came at work last Thursday morning. Their offices were flooded with sea water. Apparently, an octopus pulled apart the filter in his tank that allowed hundreds of gallons of sea water to flood the Aquarium floor.

Film work made by Superflex. They just flooded one McDonald’s.
First, food was floating everywhere and then all other stuff.
Then the lights went off. Short circuit.
Would it be the end of the fast-food era? :)
