The webcam art in these photos are prefect examples of how some people have way too much time on their hands. I guess some folks are just strange and will go to just about any lengths to entertain themselves. Sure glad they had a webcam handy when they did. This vending machine was installed in Manhattan and people had choice between bottles that “contained” Malaria, Cholera, Typhoid or Dengue. And the bottled water was really dirty. All this to raise awareness of water conservation and to remind that not every one in the world has this possibility to drink crystal clear water, what we take for granted very often. No one drank this dirty water, of course, but many people donated. ![]() These are seven amazing pictures from the animated short film called Morgenrot. The pictures are early twentieth century photographs found in the collection of the U.S. Library of Congress, and some old used postcards of New York. Pretty colors and great angles of shots! ![]() The day before yesterday morning in Manhattan, New Yorkers had a light scare as they saw the US president's official airliner accompanied by two fighter jets flying at low altitude near the Statue of Liberty and the skyscrapers. Office workers stormed out of the buildings. In fact, all this flyover was a photo op of the presidential airplane in front of national landmarks as a advertising campaign. Apparently, the local authorities were not notified and the New York mayor said that it was “insensitive” to do that, because of the September 11, 2001 attacks. Look at the photos and a video taken by witnesses of this event inside the post. This photo was taken on a mobile phone. Doesn’t it give an impression of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center? ![]() Valentino Garavani and Ann Hathaway came to the « Valentino » movie premier.
