The Chamonix Skywalk is an observation deck at the top of the Aiguille du Midi in the French Alps and this transparent box is located at a height of 1035 meters above the ground and 3842 meters above sea level.

The observation platform, located in the crown of the Statue of Liberty was closed to visitors since September 11, 2001.
This platform will be reopened for visitors on Fourth of July this year. In the meantime, a small group of journalists was allowed to go and have a little peek.
