This odd baby was created by the artist Jason Clay Lewis with the help of vinyl rubber, mohair, plaster, oil paint and aluminum armature. The artwork, called the Drill Baby, was inspired by oil spill disaster in the Gulf of Mexico. That's why the baby has the tattoos of oil covered seaguls and pelicans and even Virgin Mary holding a dripping gas nozzle. 

After the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, many funny pictures appeared mocking BP.

They don’t like it of course, but hey, it’s for the reason that people are doing it.

The situation in the Gulf of Mexico is really upsetting but maybe these images will raise your mood a bit :)

Edit: Thousands of gallons of oil were dumped into the Gulf of Mexico Gulf Coast. This disaster has affected many creatures so far, and will most likely affect many others. Sad consequences of human activity are illustrated after the jump.
