We have already showed you a little collection of photos with sculptures and installations created by Mark Jenkins. Now we have a very big collection of this artist’s works. You might have seen some of the works already but as they are very impressive we decided to add them in this post. ![]()
They are colorful and funny, they talk on the screen, but sometimes they are made from unusual materials. Have you ever seen ice sculptures? I have, but it’s the first time I come across fairy tale heroes made from… real straw! I would love to have one of these straw “creatures” in my backyard!

I love it! ![]() These sculptures are the first from the 400 that are put on the seabed in the Caribbean, Mexico and they form the beginning of the largest underwater sculpture museum in the world to celebrate the region's Mayan history. The worker holds aloft a hammer and the kolkhoz woman a sickle to form the hammer and sickle symbol. The sculpture was removed for restoration in the autumn of 2003 in preparations for Expo 2010. We often see pictures of viruses and bacteria in colors but they are actually transparent, so Luke Jerram created each virus and bacterium in its natural colorness state. Take a look at his impressive and very original work inside the post. ![]() I’m usually indifferent to this activity - making things from a balloon. For me it is like clown stuff.
