The volcano Calbuco, which was sleeping for almost 43 years, woke up April 22, 2015. More than 4,000 people within a 20km (12 mile) radius were evacuated. The red alert is maintained as they fear new possible eruptions.

Molten rock is flowing from the Kilauea volcano and has been for the past three months. It has travelled a distance of 12 miles (19 kilometers) and is quickly approaching the town of Pahoa which could be a disaster.

A popular tourist attraction in Indonesia, this muddy pond erupts with an explosion of mud and a plume of white steam every two minutes and these eruptions also shift positions from time to time. Bledug Kuwu, is the local name for something that burst in a pool and visitors can watch the geyser from a distance of 10-20 meters away.

The volcano located on Mount Etna on the island of Sicily began erupting over the weekend. It sent flows of lava down its slopes and sparks and flames over 820 feet into the air. Mount Etna is one of the most active volcanoes in the world.

This incredible footage is featured in Iceland Volcano Eruption
Kilauea volcano in Hawaii has recently erupted sending fountains of lava spewing into the air.
The volcano has been erupting since 1983 repeatedly and this time it was quite a show.
This is the 4,662 foot high Shinmoedake volcano in Japan. This volcano has erupted several times recently. This new eruption is amazing to watch as it belches smoke and ash high into the air. This causes officials to cancel flights into the area and restrict access to the mountain and no one was injured.
Welcome to the sulfur mines in the crater of the Kawah Ijen volcano in East Java, Indonesia. These photos were taken by Photographer Oliver Grunewald. The volcano is 2,600 meters tall and the craters are 200 meters deep.

This unusual volcano is located on Hawaii. Its name is Kilauea. It has been erupting since 1983. Lava from Kilauea has been destroying numerous homes for many years in a row. It has managed to scare local residents away. And you can now see images of this volcano from the past 27 years.
Iceland’s Eyjafjallajokull’s volcano continued to spew ash all over Europe, it should remind all of us of the wrath that Mother Nature can wreak. As the volcano continued to rumble and hurl ash skyward it also brought us some beautiful scenery as these photos prove. Although the volcano shut down airports all over Europe, it also made for some gorgeous and interesting photography.
