It happened in March 2008. Post-election clashes between tribes re-awakened ancient ethnic rivalries and they used bows and arrows to fight instead of the usual machetes. They said it was a more deadly alternative.
It’s very impressive and unusual. More than 20 people died in the fighting and a man was even shot in the face…
The pictures that impressed me the most are the ones where you see the Maasai warriors with members of the Kalenjin tribe on a hill overlooking the Olmelil Valley.

I love bacon, I eat it rarely though.
And it was quite a news for me to learn that in the U.S. there is canned bacon in case of war. It can be stored up to 10 years!
I wonder if it really tastes good…
If you have a pet, then these instructions are good to go.

Well, in time of war, you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do, otherwise…

The owners of these houses stood up to the various companies wanting to buy their properties.

For some time now, all the attention of the world is on North Korea who threatened its neighbor South Korea with war...

While newspapers are filled with news about the pirates of Somalia, there is a war for power that is lasting between the loyal and hardline Islamists.
Thousands of innocent people die in this fight. Since the beginning of the insurgency in December 2006, nearly 17,000 civilians lost their lives.
This is from World War II in the European Theater when the Germans invaded Russia and the great Battle of Stalingrad on August 21, 1942 took place with combined casualties estimated above 1.5 million.
Great work with minor details.
It took its author 6 years to finish the project.
There was a Soviet fighter aircraft flying, fighting with Nazis enemies, but once he was shot and fell into a lake.
After more than 60 years, historians found this place and lifted the aircraft from the lake (surprisingly enough, but the aircraft was well preserved). They buried the pilot and even found canned pork.
Note: this is a U.S. fighter aircraft P-39 Airacobra. It was used during the Second World War with mediocre performance by the Americans in the Pacific, then with a great effectiveness by the French in North Africa and Italy and especially by the Soviets (who received the majority of the production).
What do you think this is?
