2) I met my wife online, and we were married 6 years before she passed away. Another friend met his wife online whom he has been married to for 10 years. So, based on things I know from personal experience? I would say meeting someone online has as much success as meeting someone in a bar.(Especially if you are drinking at said bar)
3) Why the hell didn't you guys go on webcam? I always cam with friends, and if he's so superficial, that appearances is the major factor in his decision on who he loves, then you would think he would do just that.

Also, any author uses descriptive terms, so do yourself a favor, and if you are actually going to read, then pick up something OTHER than Harry Potter FanFiction.
