This is how this Ferrari 458 Italia was before its owner changed the color.
Try to picture now what the car looks like, I’m pretty sure you won’t find.
Anyway, see the result after the jump..
This kind of infographic pictures doesn’t stop emerging from the Internet lately.
The reason is simple, it has never been so interesting to look at facts, figures and statistics than by looking at those pictures and as the topics chosen are interesting too, these infographic pictures often make a hit!
We have gathered here the best and most recent ones for your pleasure.
Enjoy the reading!
Most of the pics are quite large, so click on them for full view and better reading.
Here’s a selection of ten hotels which are considered to be the most luxurious and notorious in the world. The cost of them per night may make an annual wage in some countries…
Even if it’s still so expensive, I’d like to spend one night or two in one of them. My favourite from this collection is Hugh Hefner Sky Villa, Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas.
We continue to see simple things transformed into something unusual with this new collection of photos. The creativity employed to make these unusual objects is truly amazing. I am not sure what all of them do but they certainly are unique.
First part: Unusual Design of Ordinary Things (167 pics)
Here’s a super fat little girl, who weighs 83 pounds at 2 years old and is from the pottery village in Shanxi Yuncheng. She was born in January 2008 at 8.82 lbs. After only 8 months she weighted over 44 lbs now her weight is now over 90 lbs. The cause of her obesity has not yet been determined.
It started with this simple picture…
… and then began all the ‘ninjas can’t catch you if…’ craziness. Once again, Photoshop and Photoshop-like users took the most of their free time and their imagination.
Some are really good!
One of the largest aquariums in the world is located in the shopping center at the Dubai Mall. It boasts hundreds of fish, including tiger sharks. However, 7 months after its opening and after attracting more than a million people, it suddenly sprang a leak and a lot of people had to evacuate.
The pictures were sent to us by Raymond Bell to whom we say a big thank you :)
If you ever wondered why dogs bite people out of the blue, we may have an answer to this question ;)
Actually, the answer is very easy and you’ll understand it all after viewing these pictures.
To be honest, I can’t blame these dogs
Some time ago, we told you in the Curiosities about a seven-year old Haitian girl Claire, who was lucky to find a new family and to escape from a poor life after the horrible earthquake that devastated Haiti. Today you will see the continuation of this story. And it should be noted that this story is truly having a happy end, although to young Claire, it’s only a beginning.
These creative photos were taken by Ross Brown. They will test the strength of your imagination and have a unique take on life.
In Tokyo, a company launched a new coffee shop that has transformed their waitresses to ‘maids’. However, as hard as it may be to believe all of these are male waiters but some of them look very feminine. If you think of visiting this place somehow, be careful ;)
Debbie Goard has been making cakes for nearly 20 years, which helps her to make true masterpieces. After seeing these photos, I was salivating like a dog… Don’t go see this post if you’re hungry.
One of the most powerful earthquakes in history happened in Chile last Saturday, measuring 8.8 on the Richter scale.
Over 400 people were killed… the bad thing about this earthquake is also that it provoked a Tsunami which was heading in the direction of Hawaii. The good thing is that the damage was minimal. The waves were from 5.5-6.5 feet.
These motorcycles are from different countries and all date from WWII.
We will make through this post a little but interesting leap into the past.

This is the reality of suburbs and slums of the city which will host Olympics in 2016.
As you can see from these pictures, the dark side of this beautiful city is shown. The police have long ago lost any control in these areas. Now it is drug dealers and criminal groups who are reigning there. Apart from adult drug addicts, you can also see children wandering the streets looking for crack or other drugs.
Very sad reality…

The base in these photos is home to the 309th Aerospace Maintenance And Regeneration Group (309 AMARG) which repairs some of the aircraft and even gets some of them flying again. Electronics, wiring, munitions, and engines are all recycled to help reduce the cost of maintaining today’s fleet. The U.S. government even allows the military in other countries to buy parts and planes from the site. The facility is the size of 1,300 football fields. The desert is a perfect place to store the mass of steel, because the small amount of rainfall means low humidity which means very little rust occurs.

The owners of the vehicles in these photos have some ridiculously real problems. How these vehicles got in these predicaments is beyond me and anyone’s guess but it is going to take some real effort on somebody’s part to get them fixed.

During SpeedWeek in 2007 a motor home got stuck in the salt. A small yellow wrecker came for a rescue and also got stuck. Next, a large yellow wrecker tried to pull them out and also got stuck. Then a large blue wrecker came to help but also got stuck. One motor home and three wreckers had to spent night stuck in the salt until they were rescued the next morning.
Bill Thomas is what Steve Martin would call a “Wild and Crazy Guy”. It would appear from these photos that he is trying to find new and clever ways to commit suicide. While some of the methods do seem clever and ingenious, we’re not too sure how effective they would be.
