Beautiful Underwater Meadow (28 pics + 1 video)

Gruner See is a green lake in Austria. In fact, this is a meadow in the woods, but it’s very unusual. From May to July it is filled up with water coming down from the mountains. In some places this lake’s depth is up to 8 meters. The water here is crystal clear.

You two ^ are morons. Also what's with the terrible photoshop on the scuba diver? Then they post the photo were he was cut from!

Now that you mention it, some pictures do look photo shopped.

See Wikipedia : "Green Lake (Grüner See), which dries out almost completely in the fall. In the spring the lake is filled with snow melt runoff. This gives the lake crystal clear water, the existing rocks and meadow give the lake its green color."

Those are great shots. We have a couple of underwater villages around here but sadly the water isn't that clear!

Hi guys - as someone here pointed out, this lake IS real and yes, Bluecodproductions has pictures of the most recent such happening last season. It's under Dive Trips and there are plenty of shots (underwater photographer Jonas Eriksson).

Thanks for visiting and enjoy the pics.
