but then USA came, they controlled the governments and still do it in some countries, they killed a lot of people controlling the national armies all over latinamerica, but some countries have succeed like cuba, venezuela and many others
youtube "tierra arrasada" and there you will find some story about Guatemala (in spanish) or "the war on democracy" (in english) for a summarize of history of latin america
when you go to the towns in the interior of the country you see this people, they dont have education, they dont speak spanish, they are afraid of other people different to them, sometimes they even kill wite/mestizo people because they tink they will be attacked again, its really sad
