Where's The Pooch? (9 pics)

For the last six months this Russian fellow left his Staffordshire terrier in his car that he bought especially for the dog to keep him away from illegal dog fights. The man was divorced and didn’t have any place to keep the pooch. He feeds and walks the dog twice a day but no one knows how well the dog will do during one of Russia’s winters. Plus, it seems that the dog becomes more aggressive being locked up there all alone.

Nobody gave humans the right to lock animals in cars. It's wrong against the nature.

@fructoza With that logic we should just let dogs roam free outside and anyone who's been watching animal planet knows how well that works.

Not defending the guy but at least it's better than what some americans do and just dump them in a desolate area and let them fend for themselves.

Fnark,
So you think that dumping an animal is systemic only to America? That's pretty ignorant to think that only Americans dump pets on road sides and in the countryside.

@BillTheWelder Ofc I don't but it was the most obvious example seeing as I mentioned animal planet and they show that stuff every single day there. (Animal rescue etc)

I'm not condoning what this guy did as such, the dog is obviously suffering from it, but at least the article says he cares for it with food and exercise and that's a whole lot more than some other dogs get.

I also chose America in my example due to the fact that some people think this kind of stuff only happens in poor countries.

Dogs a Animals, If set free in rural American It would be fine. People need to stop projecting human emotion on animals. This poor dog would be way better of with out human interference. Dogs are pack predators and would be much happier hunting are killing pray.

That would only apply to dogs that have yet to become reliant on humans.
Releasing it into the wild thinking it would somehow find a pack of buddies and learn how to hunt is pretty ignorant.
Look at any of the third world countries with feral dogs roaming the streets, do those look healthy and happy? Do they run into the woods to hunt small animals? No, they stick to humans and eat garbage and other leftovers, living in places cockroaches tend to avoid.
Compared to that I'd take a car and regular feeding/exercise any day.

Shopper...you are dead wrong. All species have the same emotions as humans and have a right to live without being abused or killed. Most people live in denial on this proven fact. After all, if they admit to it, it would be far harder to enslave, slaughter, torture for science experiments or chain them up.

Dogs are pack animals, but love to be with humans who are kind to them. The humans ARE their pack.

The man is doing what he thinks best for his dog. It seems cruel, and under different circumstances it would be, but he seems to love him and does care for his well being.
