Hair has been used throughout the centuries in many ways. Hair design has always been an artistic flair for many ladies and a way to show their inner personality. Some of these ideas worked out well and some did not.
With an artist’s heart and a lover of hair Nagi Noda created what she calls hair hats. These are hats created with all natural hair that come in a variety of animal shapes that include lions, dogs, elephants, walruses, rhinos, bears, and other exotic creatures.
Although Nagi died from injuries that she sustained from a car accident her work can still be viewed and purchased.

During the Victorian era hair was used to make bracelets, brooches, and necklaces along with other items. One way was by using the hair to construct a brooch or pendent in the memory of a loved one. The hair along with dates of birth and death were crafted together.
