This image is the 10th place winner the Nikon Small World contest. This contest inspires users to submit photos of the smallest things through the light microscope. These photos are pretty amazing!
This is 16x magnified and created by Yanping Wang of Beijing China. I think it’s neat that the soy sauce zoomed at the 16x magnified size looks so much like Japanese symbols in its formation.
Rescue of Miners in Chile
This mine rescue worker is stuffed into a capsule and prepared for lift off, well down to help save the 33 trapped gold and copper mine workers in Chile.
These trapped miners were happy to be rescued after 69 days under the ground, the longest anyone has ever been trapped and come out alive.
This was a day for celebration as the miners were all rescued after spending 69 days underground trapped in the gold and copper mines. The longest anyone has been trapped and survived.
More than 300 clowns attended the 15th Annual International Clown Convention.
Clowns of all shapes and sizes attended to the joy of all the children.
