I think I figured out the naming of the ship, it was way too unusual to mean nothing. So here is what I got Va-Jo-Li-Ro-Ja possibly stand for Vanessa/Johnny/Lili Rose/Jack.
Wife/Himself/Daughter/Son, voila an explanation that makes sense.

Alas, this boat is a royal piece of shit. Built by the Turks, originally intended as a sort of head-boat day-charter thing (where groups of unrelated people go on the same cruise). The Turks are building the cheapest, most unbelievably unreliable tubs on the market today.

I have BEEN on this boat--I worked for J.D. for four years (during said purchase). It was originally christened Valiroja, with documentation (involving paying sales tax, forming a corporation, and getting the boat registered with the Coast Guard), linens, table settings, etc. all inscribed/monogrammed accordingly. Then, one fine day, he and Vanessa are sitting on the back deck, when he and one of his "gravy-train hobos" are talking. Conversation went something like this: "So, Johnny, you got yer boat, all good to go! VAnessa, LIly ROse, and JAck! Very clever!" (although this actually shows about ...this much... ingenuity and creativity) Johnny responds, "Wow, yeah... but... I wonder why I never though to put ME in the name... oh, man... well... let's just redo it as the VAJOLIROJA!"

"umm... yeah... o...k... we'll get... right on it... (fuckFuckFUCK!! We gotta do this ALL OVER again???!!)

About forty grand worth of plates, towels, sheets hit the Med, along with re-incorporating, and re-registering, and new signboards and new transom lettering. Tally around a quarter million.

on a piece of shit boat.

most ironic thing is, during this period, ohh! ohh! ohh! SECRECY! SECURITY!! PRIVACY!! the very minute these people are no longer in the main spotlight, they start "leaking" schitt like this. Remember the cover article in Vanity Fair not long ago???

look at me, Look At Me, LOOK AT ME!! ATTENTION! ATTENTION! ATTENTION!!!!!

Allah worshipper of the bbq:

Thanks for the info you provided it was enlightening. Could you tell us what country is the boat registered in, I can't find any info on this, I presume Cayman islands or something of the sort. Since you are apparently the seafarer kind, tell me how well this thing handles out to sea, to me it looks like a coastal cruiser that would have a hard time handling any sort of moderate swell, what's your take on that?

Great placement for the blue sofas...really gets their faces up-close and personal with the exhausts...

Einsib,

the stacks are ornamental. it's got typical wet exhausts out the stern (as I recall, more specifically just aft of mid-ships).

piloto,

I can't recall exactly which country it's registered in; it's been a couple years since I was in his employ. the thing with this boat in particular is, it's extremely narrow for it's length. It rolls like a frikkin pig. It has a really deep draft for a boat of "only" 156'--like, 7'6" or so. T'was indeed designed, built and intended as a day-boat, for excursions. I haven't been to sea on it; I worked in another capacity for JD, which I cannot disclose. In general, currently the Turks are building the worlds "cheap-shit, all flash and no substance, long for the sake of length" boats--a title once held by Broward Boats of Fort Lauderdale, and also by the Taiwanese.
