What would you do if you came upon a bookbag with a laptop and three grand in cash in it? Would you turn it in or keep it?
When Dave Talley found a bookbag that belonged to Bryan Ballenger he thought about it and decided to turn it in. Instead of keeping the money for himself, he took it to the TCAA where he works part time.
Sam Sumner and Dave went to work on trying to find out who the bag belonged to. Without a wallet inside it was hard to find the rightful owner, but when they saw the flash drive things came into perspective. The flash drive contained the resume for ASU student Bryan Belanger. It was easy then to call Bryan and give him his bag back including $3,000.00.
Things worked out well for both Dave and Bryan. Bryan was able to buy the car he needed and Dave proved to the world that there are good people still left in this world. When the news made it out about his good deed the community center and Dave himself began to get donations.
