The city of Lost Springs, Wyoming has just one resident. This town had 200 residents in 1911 when it was incorporated, but once the mine closed in 1930 people began to slip away.
The 2000 census found that just one person was living there although there is a post office, Small Park, municipal building, and even a country store. Even the Mayor doesn’t actually live in the city. The mayor also mentioned that the census is incorrect there are actually 3 people who live in the town.
