Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr show first child to public
Here is another look of another Hollywood baby, c/o Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr. Kerr gave birth to baby boy Flynn last Jan. 6, 2011. Now, Kerr has posted in her personal blog an intimate photo of her son breastfeeding. She explains about her long labor and how Bloom had been there throughout it. They are so happy and enjoying their time together as a family as they consider their little son their ray of sunshine. Well, this is rather different with other Hollywood babies who are shown in front of magazines…it’s rather nice. Congratulations Orlando and Miranda!
Regis Philbin from “Regis and Kelly” is retiring
We have known “Regis and Kelly” and they have captured our attention for a long time. But what happens when one of them is gone? Well, it looks like that way because the other half of the show, Regis Philbin, will be retiring. Regis said that he didn’t want to alarm anybody, but this is his last year and he’ll be leaving the show around late summer. He is sad to go but we must admit that everything has an end. This is really sad because Regis and Kelly is a great show and we hope they pick a very good replacement to fill in Regis’ shoes.
First look at X-Men: First Class
With many great movies coming out this year, a lot of first looks have appeared the past days and the people behind X-Men: First Class won’t be left behind. They came out with the first look of the film featuring the entire cast in their respective costumes. From left to right: Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, January Jones as Emma Frost, Jason Flemyng as Azazel, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Lucas Till as Havok, Zoe Kravitz as Angel, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique and James McAvoy as Professor Charles Xavier. Hmmm…we expected the first look to be grander, but this will do. We are hoping for great pictures in the future.
Guns N Roses is a “no go” for Glee
“Glee” may have won the Golden Globes as Best TV Comedy series, but this doesn’t mean they can get every artist to lend them their songs. Guns N Roses explained they were approached by the show’s producers to get one of their songs to be featured in the show, but eventually turned them down. Former guitarist Slash explains that “Glee is worse than Grease and Grease is bad enough”. Guess he just isn’t a fan of musicals but we’ll have to see…because artists such as Coldplay and Kings of Leon who turned down Glee’s producers are reconsidering in lending their songs to the show.
Hilary Duff is Pregnant!
Actresses are getting pregnant, so she’ll be that too! But seriously, Hilary Duff and husband hockey star Mike Comrie will be expecting their first child. She is now seven weeks pregnant and the couple is very happy about the news. Hmmm…more and more actresses are getting knocked up and we are expecting that by later this year or next year, the population of the world will swell, thanks to the Hollywood babies. And more magazine covers on them as well. Anyhow, congratulations to Hilary and Mike!
James Franco on hosting the Oscars
The Golden Globes are done and it’s time for the Oscars, and first on the list: the hosts. James Franco and Anne Hathaway will be hosting the Academy Awards this year and are considered to be the youngest hosts in Oscar history. Hathaway hasn’t been reached on how she’ll be doing the hosting, but Franco has something to say. He explains that there’ll be singing and dancing, and to just go with the flow. As for Hathaway, he says he is happy to have her as co-host and is counting on her to pull off the hosting well so that they’ll get good reviews. We’ll be looking forward to that since the Oscars is the biggest awards show in history. Good luck to both of you.
Former “Girl Next Door” has a new boyfriend
ormer “Girl Next Door” Holly Madison has a new boyfriend now named Jack Barakat and she just met him on Twitter. Madison said that he met Barakat through a mutual friend where somebody retweeted something funny that he said on Twitter. Madison started following Barakat and both started tweeting each other back and forth. Then they texted for several months and when they had a vacation, they hit it right there. Madison is happy to have met Barakat. Well, we hope they last long enough and that this isn’t just some puppy love.
Bradley Cooper’s tough days
Bradley Cooper has been having a tough time the past days with some tragedies coming into his life. In Jan. 15 his father, Charles Cooper at 71, died after battling with a long illness. Then, the day after, his mother’s home caught on fire while he and girlfriend Renee Zellweger were watching the Golden Globe in TV. It was still unknown what caused the fire, but fortunately, no one was injured. We hope that Cooper is okay even though we know he is still mourning from the death of his father. Condolences, Brad.
David Cassidy expected to enter guilty plea
Former “Partridge Family” star David Cassidy is expected to enter a guilty plea anytime soon in relation to his drunken driving charge/arrest last November. If he enters a plea without court hearing, then Cassidy might be sentenced on February 16, 2011. Well, let’s just see what happens on the plea that he will be doing because he has put himself in trouble now when he was arrested with DUI. Yes, it’s sad the former teen stars end up this way, but we guess it can’t be helped. Good luck to him.
Dr. Drew Hospitalized
ven though he spends his time treating patients in “Celebrity Rehab”, this does not stop him from being hospitalized himself. Dr. Drew Pinsky has contracted a bacterial infection called Leptospirosis when he was with his wife on a second honeymoon. He spent the night on a hospital as a patient. Despite that, the sickness can be cured through antibiotics that will be given to him by a doctor. Whoa! Hope everything is fine and that he’ll be better soon.
