This is a Canadian National locomotive that is by a 4 stroke, V16, 4400 Hp, 183 liter diesel. Unfortunately, it had catastrophic engine failure. While the train was passing through Independence, Louisiana, the engine exploded and one of the 16 cylinder packs was thrown completely through the train. The failure was so violent that the cylinder fell  through a nearby home’s roof and wound up in an interior wall.

What does the locomotive have to do with the derailed cars? The locomotive may be in Independence, Louisiana but the auto carrier cars are not. All of the automobiles in the auto carriers appear to have a European design and they all have European (non North American) style license plates.

The car-truck thing is a Holden SSV so I'm assuming the last pictures are in Australia.

Either Australia or in South Africa.Since the numberplates are unfamiliar and there are a shipload of bluegums I'm willing to bet money on Australia.

The first set were really fascinating. But neither set is what I would call "Really Funny Stuff"...
