Nine New Tombs Found in Peruvian Andes

These new tombs are considered the most significant since the unearthing of Machu Picchu. This new find might force historians to rethink the origins of the mighty Inca empire. They found the new tombs in pre-Hispanic Wari Peru.

The find could mean that the Wari, who flourished in the Andes between 700 and 1200 AD might have controlled the areas where the Inca empire later flourished.

Planning for the Moselle River

The river Moselle runs through the Rhineland-Palatinate that is famous for its white wines and world class Rieslings. Since 1960 plans have been made to create a massive highway bridge that will span the river and make it quicker to travel from Eifel and Hunsruck. Wine growers in the area are not amused and it should prove interesting to see the outcome.
