A Glimpse into the Daily Life of North Koreans (35 pics)

North Korea is one of the top secret countries in the world. Most photos of local life that appear in media show us military exercises and pompous parades. Finally, photographer Charlie Crane from Great Britain obtained permission to take pictures of daily life in this country. He was accompanied by a guide, but he still had a lot of opportunities to glimpse into the daily routine of ordinary North Koreans.

I guess they love their country and leaders, just as they are ordered to...
Never underestimate the power of large crowds, of stupid people.

it is their life ... not yours. They can do whatever they want
and if something has to change, this has to be done from them from inside.

After a hard day of sabre rattling and annoying the world with a nuclear arms program

There is no better way for North Korean cadres to relax than with a cold beer.

It is readily apparent that the Kim Jong iI (Dear Leader Dude) needs some help with the concept of capitalism. If you are going to promote a poor quality beer you need scantily clad beer ladies to keep the attention of the average beer drinking dude.

Nice, however .. I'm over 100% sure that these are just the pics that passed the censorship - when photographer left the country. - this is sort of "the good site".

this is bullshit. I'm from Poland, i was in north Korea last year, on "educational visit". life there is nightmare, and those photos are big fail... just for example, I saw kids playing "tug of war", but no kids vs. kids, just kids vs. wall...
and with no rope.

on EACH crossroads was a policewoman (!) to control the traffic, but theres was no traffic. becouse there was no car (I saw maybe 12-14 cars in Phenian through 8 days)...

it was just a stupid joke, right? maybe you do whatever you want but they surely don't do whatever they want! they just do what what they HAVE TO do.
