This is totally crazy! Jason Valdez held a hostage in Utah hotel and discussed his 16 hours standoff with the police on Facebook. His blog was regularly updated and his friends and family commented on the whole event.
Jason updates his Facebook status for the first time:

He tells friends he'll come out when he's ready:
He tells his friends he's finally letting his hostage go:

And then the SWAT team busts in. Jason shoots himself in the chest. He's alive, but still in the hospital.
