Considering the many ways that a person could escape from prison, this way has to rank as one of the stupidest and most original.
In Mexico was stopped the original attempt to escape from prison. Juan Ramirez Tijerina is serving a 20-year sentence in Chetumal prison for illegal weapons possession and thought it would be wise to have his 19-year old girlfriend Maria del Mar Arjona sneek him out in a suitcase.
However, Maria was not the best at acting casual, because on her way out the prison guards asked that she open the bag and out popped a folded up Tijerina. Girl will be convicted and soon she will join her boyfriend in prison.
