Say What?!?
Niko Alm's states that he is a Pastafarian so that he could prove how silly a law in Austria was. According to the Austrian legal system you can not have a hat on for any official documents.
He challenged the law by telling them he was a pastafarian. His religion is the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. The application process took 3 years, but Niko is seen here wearing the spaghetti strainer on his head for his documents.
As you might have guessed, the country and the Catholic Church are not amused. Niko however, states that his new religion has just one rule, no dogma. His next goal is to see his new church recognized as a religion. We wonder how many other folks will now have spaghetti drainers for headgear in the coming year.
